Water Sprite - Hand Dyed Silk Devore Scarf
This Devore scarf (silk substrate with a pattern woven in rayon to provide contrast) was hand dyed with midnight blue-to-aqua gradients, suggesting the movement of water in a mysterious pool hidden at the edge of the forest. The Devore elements take up the dye differently, highlighting the delicate pattern in the fabric. Hand wash and hang to dry.

Stella Lilly - Hand Dyed Silk Devore Scarf
This Devore scarf (silk substrate with a pattern woven in rayon to provide contrast) was hand dyed with daffodil yellow-to-flame gradients, borrowed from a special day lilly growing in Jeff's garden. The hot colors work well with a black dress, and contrast stunningly with midnight or royal blue, if you have an outfit with those colors. Here it warms up the cool tones of the batik greens of a camisole corset. Hand wash and hang to dry.

Oceana - Floating Chiffon Scarf
This floating poly chiffon scarf contains displays a manufactured gradient from the deep blue of the ocean depths, to the light aqua of the shallows of the Caribbean. I found a great coordinating cotton batik to finish the ends with, embellished with beaded anchor lines (helps keep that floating chiffon from floating right away from you!). I did not dye these fabrics - just lusted after them when I saw them and ran home with them chortling... Hand wash and hang to dry
