Raven on Stump          $350

A folk art style piece using background elements from an art deco stained glass window.  The foreground is a bit different although it doesn't show to advantage in the picture.  I cut many threads of embroidery floss and laid them among the plants to add a wispy feel of drying grass. 
They are covered with a golden colored piece of tulle which I then top-stitched. 

This early piece has an odd sort of rustic charm I think....
