This lovely vintage rayon fabric came from an old dress unearthed in Jensen Beach. I just loved the colors and the way the shapes suggested one of Louis Comfort Tiffany's abstract windows. I floated the fabric over the top of a sturdy cotton substrate, which contains the stays of the corset. This is a three-lacing system (front and both sides) camisole corset, allowing maximum personal fit adjustments. Here it shown with a light organza aqua ribbon, although royal blue or black wold work equally well. This is a size large one-of-a-kind garment - there was only enough fabric for one to be made! Hand wash and hang to dry.
