This piece was inspired by a pen and ink drawing by an amazing artist living in British Columbia
named Claire Victoria Watson.  She graciously shares some of her beautiful line drawings
as coloring pages, which may be found at her website - see link below.  

I was captivated of her drawing of a giant pacific octopus and spoke with her about expressing
her drawing as a fabric piece.  She was intrigued by the idea and encouraged me to give it a try.
