Blue Stained Glass - Camisole Corset

This lovely vintage rayon fabric came from an old dress unearthed in Jensen Beach.  I just loved the colors and the way the shapes suggested one of Louis Comfort Tiffany's abstract windows.  I floated the fabric over the top of a sturdy cotton substrate, which contains the stays of the corset.  This is a three-lacing system (front and both sides) camisole corset, allowing maximum personal fit adjustments.  Here it shown with a light organza aqua ribbon, although royal blue or black wold work equally well.  This is a size large one-of-a-kind garment - there was only enough fabric for one to be made!        Hand wash and hang to dry.

Tropical Abandon - Camisole Corset

This hot tropical print is a cotton batik I purchased in Florida - I just loved the hot colors and thought it would go great so many ways - paired with a black pencil skirt for clubbing, a white swirly skirt for polo, or just paired with jeans for an every day look.  This camisole corset is a single lacing system (front) with 8 stays.  It is a size large and I have enough material to make another if desired.      Hand wash and hang to dry.

Pretty Peonies - Camisole Corset

This beautiful peony cotton print attracted me as the pink and rose colors just "pop" against the black background.  Although it isn't very noticeable in this picture, the green leaves are picked out with gilt accents, which adds a rich luster to the print.  This is a three-lacing system (front and both sides) camisole corset, allowing maximum personal fit adjustments.  Here it shown with a pink satin ribbon, although rose, mint, forest or black ribbons would work equally well.  This is a size large but I have enough material to make two more cami-corsets if desired.    Hand wash and hang to dry.

Skulls and Roses - Strapless Camisole Corset

This wild cotton print is much richer in color than the photograph shows - the reds really pop against the black background and is commercially available.  Here I used it in a strapless camisole corset size medium.  This is a two-lacing system - laces on both sides allow quite a bit of fit adjustments depending on how much waist compression or bust lift is desired.   Hand wash and hang to dry.

Luscious Lilacs - Strapless Camisole Corset

This lovely cotton print is commercially available and is quite a bit more vivid than this picture shows.  This cami-corset has a four-lacing system - lacing on the front, back and both sides, allowing the maximum of personal fit options.  Here it is shown laced with delicate lavender ribbons, but more striking looks may be achieved with larger or more boldly colored laces.
